Lessons and Group Classes

Big Pan gives violin/viola lessons in the Lawrence, Kansas area.
For young beginners, Big Pan uses the Suzuki Method, which he believes is the best way for young children to start on a string instrument.

Private lessons are 30 minutes long and normally once a week for beginners. 45 min or one hour lessons are also available for older or more advanced students.

Big Pan believes that maintaining weekly lessons is the key to making steady progress. In cases of unavoidable cancelation of lessons, please notify the teacher 24 hour before lesson time.
Students are advised to reschedule lessons instead of skipping. As Dr. Suzuki said, "never hurry, but never stop!"

Big Pan Also strongly encourages students to attend group classes if a class of the student's level is available. For more information on Group classes, please ask Big Pan.
